Pushin' Tapes - Flash Gordon Parks ( The Soul Of Philadelphia )

Flash Gordon Parks: Philadelphia is known for many things…..Liberty Bell, Cheesesteaks, Charlie Mack being first out the limo. But most important is the rich soul sound that permeated the city of brotherly love under the reign of songwriter extraordinaires Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff. Along w/ other contributors including Thom Bell and Vince Montana Jr. Gamble and Huff were able to shape music for many generations to come. DJ Flash Gordon Parks highlights some of his favorites from the TSOP catalogue. Enjoy!
