TRAUMA & MARS - THE ROBIN THICKE THEORY

TAPEMASTA: Ladies, I told that I stay up on everything that's moving worldwide...Take this one with you & enjoy the sounds of Mr Thicke...

SOUL BOUNCE: It's safe to say that Robin Thicke is the man right about now. He's got an international hit on his hands with the song "Blurred Lines," which is still going strong months after dropping in March and has fans from eight to eighty (despite the sketchy subject matter). But "Blurred Lines" isn't Thicke's first time at the rodeo. On July 30th he'll release his sixth album, and what better way to celebrate this occasion and his revitalized career than with a retrospective of his past work? And who better to do just that than DJ Trauma and DJ Mars who took a stroll through Robin's catalog to hook up The Robin Thicke Theory, the second mixtape in their #InstantVintage series in association with SoulBounce. If you loved what Trauma and Mars did with their Raphael Saadiq The Sounds of Saadiq #InstantVintage mixtape, then you are going to lose your mind when you press play on this joint right here. These two World Famous Super Friends curated selections from all of Thicke's albums -- from singles to album cuts -- alongside remixes and interview clips to create a mix that you'll keep in heavy rotation. Check the full tracklist after the bounce to see what goodness is in store. Get into the groove of The Robin Thicke Theory right here, and avail yourself of the mixtape..

DIGGERS UNION ( HEVEHITTA & DJ UNEXPECTED ) - Enjoy and Be Educated #1324: There's Something About H.E.R ( Celebrating 40 Years of Hip-Hop )

HEVEHITTA - On today's episode of "Enjoy and Be Educated," DJ Unexpected and I paid tribute to 40 years of hip-hop.  With tomorrow being hip-hop's 40th birthday, it was only right for DJ Unexpected and I to show props to a genre of music that played such a big role in our lives. I hope you enjoy the show, and please make sure to give props to Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa and the many other hip-hop pioneers who helped pave the way for us to be here today. Enjoy and be educated..This week marks 40 years since the creation of hip-hop in a small party in The Bronx. Now a global phenomenon, it started out as a simple formula; a great sound system, the DJ, the MCs, the B-Boys and graffiti. Park jams became notorious before invading clubs, and eventually made it to our airwaves. We at The Diggers Union pay tribute with 2-hours of breaks and classic songs which helped to shape what we know and love today. Happy Birthday hip-hop and as always, enjoy and be educated!

TAPEMASTA - Now you get to hear what hip hop is about & why..Some dj's can't rock like this & you know why too !! Let's see if dj's can drop something like this & then remember where it came from...Enjoy this one, because I did & that's because this kind of hip hop is what I grew up on...

FLEG - CLASSIC BREAKS MIX V1 & SUMMER COOLOUT MIX

TAPEMASTA - Now you get to see what I can do with mixtapes from real djs & use today's technology also..Keep up because i'm touching all bases...PS: I'm also giving you another mix to rock out with..

FLEG - Before my next mix of newer material I wanted to make the first in a series of Classics mixes. These are the breaks that I remember being played all the time in the early 2000's. Some of them are straight up bboy anthems. Leacy, Dadeo, Geometrix and local radio DJ's had a big impact on what I play in this mix. To me, these sounds were everywhere and I wanted to bring that vibe back for the newer generation who might not know these breaks as well. Thank you to everyone who's supported me and believed in me. I can't wait to spin this stuff for all of you, live! One love.

Be prepared to think outside the box, and be educated!
*Note: During Neil’s set, there are original samples mixed in with the songs that made them famous. These titles were omitted for digging purposes, as to encourage discovery.
**Note: There were some microphone/technical difficulties during the second part of Neil’s interview. We apologize for the inconvenience.
